Binance Co-Founder He Yi: Intercepted 57 Suspected North Korean-Linked Cyber Threats This Year

on November 3, according to Binance co-founder He Yi, the Binance security team discovered and thwarted 57 cyber threats suspected to be linked to North Korea in 2026.

He Yi stated that the attack methods included fraudulent recruitment interviews, malware disguised as popular development tools, software packages and browser extensions implanted with malicious code, fake video conferencing apps, and social engineering campaigns aimed at stealing credentials or deploying remote access malware.
