Fundraising Purpose Shifts to Bitcoin Purchases, Metaplanet Repays 8 Billion Yen in Bonds Early

Metaplanet announced it has fully repaid in advance the 20th series of ordinary bonds issued to EVO FUND, with a principal of 8 billion yen, originally due in April 2027. The company also adjusted the fundraising purpose of the 27th series of stock acquisition rights, reallocating the 8 billion yen originally planned for bond repayment to the purchase of Bitcoin, increasing the planned amount for this purpose from 25.422 billion yen to 33.422 billion yen; the planned amount for the Bitcoin income business remains at 3.714 billion yen.
