CertiK: Losses in the cryptocurrency industry reached a record 9.2 billion dollars in 2026

According to The Defiant, the real-time data dashboard of the blockchain security auditing firm CertiK shows that the cumulative losses in the cryptocurrency industry reached a record $9.2 billion in 2026.

Data indicates that in October, $3.03 billion in assets were frozen or recovered, bringing the adjusted losses for the month down to $3.47 billion.
