Ballistic Ventures seeks to raise $490 million for its new fund

On November 4, TechFlow reported, citing TechCrunch, that cybersecurity venture capital firm Ballistic Ventures is seeking to raise a combined $490 million for two new funds.

The company filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission this week, aiming to raise $360 million for its third flagship fund and $130 million for its standalone investment vehicle, Ballistic Ventures Fund B. When the documents were filed, neither fund had recorded any sales.

The report pointed out that increased use of artificial intelligence has sparked concerns about more complex cyberattacks, while the emergence of AI agents also creates new opportunities for cybersecurity startups and their investors. Ballistic Ventures declined to comment on the fundraising plan.
