KAST Founder: No Platform Token Issuance, Plans to Convert User Points into KAST Pioneer Units
Raagulan Pathy, founder of the stablecoin payment platform KAST, stated that KAST will not issue a platform token, but instead plans to convert user points into KAST Pioneer Units issued by a KAST-affiliated special purpose vehicle (SPV). The plan has completed legal review in multiple countries and received investor approval, and users are expected to be able to confirm the conversion through the app in early December.
Pathy stated that KAST will arrange periodic redemption events but cannot commit to specific redemption amounts, timing, or returns. The company hopes to use this mechanism to allow community users to share in KAST's development achievements while avoiding the interest misalignment issues that traditional token issuance may bring.
