Ripple CEO: Pro-Crypto Candidates Win Across Both Parties, Industry Won't Leave the U.S.
on Nov. 6, according to Bitcoin.com News, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse posted on X on Nov. 4 stating that crypto-supporting candidates won across both parties, noting, “67 million (and still growing) Americans who use crypto will not leave,” and adding that the new Congress should continue the same mission: clear rules and building here in the U.S.
This figure comes from the "2026 Crypto Holder Status Report" released by the U.S. National Crypto Association (NCA) on May 13. The study, conducted in partnership with Harris Poll, shows that approximately one-quarter of U.S. adults hold crypto assets, up from one-fifth a year ago. The NCA is chaired by Ripple General Counsel Stuart Alderoty.
Alderoty credited this victory to years of investment by Super PAC Fairshake and grassroots advocacy organizations, and noted that early data from Stand With Crypto shows a large number of pro-crypto lawmakers were elected across both parties. Ripple previously made a third $25 million contribution to Fairshake in November 2024. He stated that "clear rules for digital assets have never been a matter of a single election cycle," and expressed hope to work with both parties.
