He Yi: Binance will fully cover user losses and welcomes top AI security experts to join.

on November 4, Binance co-founder He Yi addressed external criticisms regarding Binance's security and permission management on X, stating "we accept it all." Binance is not a perfect company, but it is continuously evolving.

He Yi outlined three key areas Binance must currently address:

First, concerning whether user funds are affected, Binance will take full responsibility; she noted that while a substantial funding shortfall could legally permit bankruptcy and debt discharge, Binance remains user-centric and steadfastly honors its contractual commitments.

Second, how the breach occurred; prior to publishing the report, numerous professionals advised against disclosing specifics. However, Binance believes transparency fosters trust, and hopes the report will serve as a cautionary example for industry peers regarding social engineering attacks and AI permission boundaries.

Third, how to prevent recurrence. Binance has restructured its security boundaries across departmental access controls, security infrastructure, device updates, and AI tool resets, strictly adhering to zero-trust and least-privilege principles. Independent security audits will subsequently publish their findings.

He Yi further extended an invitation to leading AI security experts to join Binance.
