Anthropic launches Claude personal finance feature with bank account connectivity

on November 6, according to The Verge, Anthropic launched the Claude Personal Finance feature, enabling users to connect their bank and credit card accounts via Plaid so Claude can analyze spending, bills, and savings.

The feature offers only read-only access; it cannot transfer, manage, or invest funds, nor does it provide financial advice. Claude can view account balances, credit limits, and transaction records for up to two years, but cannot access banking passwords.

The Personal Finance feature is releasing its beta version this week to U.S. subscribers of Claude Pro, Max, and Ultra.
