REZ is the governance token of Renzo Protocol, a liquid restaking platform built on EigenLayer. It is used to vote on protocol decisions such as operator whitelisting, AVS selection, risk management frameworks, and treasury allocation. Holders can also restake REZ to mint ezREZ, earning AVS security rewards and a share of protocol fee revenue.
